Convenient to Interstate 89, just 12 miles from Exit 8 in Montpelier. Go straight off the exit ramp, heading east on U.S. Route 2. After a little more than 8 miles, there is a blinking light in East Montpelier. Bear right to continue on Route 2. Continue a little more than 3 miles into Plainfield, where there is another blinking light on Route 2. Take a right at this light, leaving Route 2, toward the village. Take the first right, just 100 feet ahead, which is Mill Street. The white church and used bookstore will be on your left after you make the turn. Head up the hill and after about one-tenth of a mile the road becomes Barre Hill Road. After a half mile, the road forks. Bear left onto Middle Road.
